How to end your frustration...

Hi

If you have yet to take a moment to visit
deangraziosi.com and see this week's video, I thought I'd share a few of the actual comments people are posting.

Hopefully this will get you excited enough to go watch it. There is a very important principle I have to share with you this week!

Read a few, then go watch the video and post some feedback of your own. It really is important to me.

"I sometime just don't understand why people can't grasp what you are trying to do and all you give back. And yes it did take 9 months for my first deal, And
yes i did everything you and your success academy taught, But... in the next year did 50 deals, and if I don't do 100 this year I will be disappointed.

The reason all this is possible is I have put all your teaching into place. And for this I thank you, my wife and daughters and grandchildren thank you. And they will always know were this comes from. If You had not started this I have no idea were I would be today."

Hi Dean,
What an incredible message today. It's this very thing that separates you from all the rest who would
be successes at buying & selling real estate, teaching others how to do it, writing books explaining step-by-step how it's done, leading a social community like DG.com, while overseeing your many endeavors, steering what is an obvious abundance of entrepreneurial thoughts, ideas, and goals.

There's no doubt that your message today will help a great number of people who may be trying too hard to become successful too fast. Thank you for pointing out that there are many, many levels of success, not the least of which is preparation to get started applying your principles learned from your books, this site, and videos, e-mails, outlines, scripts, etc. from your successful students.

Those of us who are perhaps getting impatient will better see the value in the hours, days, weeks spent setting up an office, equipping it with supplies, forms, etc., setting up an 800 number, a website, while continuing to read your books for direction and answers.

These things are just as much a part of our success as phone calls, mailings, driving around looking for distressed houses, stopping at the print shop for copies of fliers, and all the other things we all have either done or are working on getting done.

I went through a period not too long ago when I felt myself showing and feeling signs of depression when I realized how long I had been "getting started".

Thankfully, I've had a lot of therapy in my life so I was able to get myself back on the road. When I think of all the things I've done to get started and I realize how helpful those things will be when I finally pull the trigger on my business, I am thankful that most of those things I'll never have to do again.

I'm getting closer and closer to the point where my days will be filled with finding deals, contacting buyers and completing the transaction, then off to the next deal. It's very exciting.

Thanks again for the thought-provoking message! God Bless You!

Have a great week!

Thank you for another great blog. Dean, I have to say you hit the nail on the head on the way we feel about our REI. We are closing on a deal in the first part of Oct. We know it is a small deal compared to other successful students on this site. It has taken us over a years time after joining the success academy to get to this deal for what ever reason. (no falt to the academy or other Dean resources). We have used Dean's books teachings in the past to buy the the house we live in with no money down and walked out of closing with money, thank you Dean. What my point is, to us this is a big deal in our REI life.

We received a personal loan to buy this property 100% of OPM. That's a big deal. The property was a HUD home auction we won for 15k and that's a big deal. (again it may be nothing to others on this site but to us it's a big deal). The last assessed value in 09 was 52k. It is a small 3/1 in a nice small town.

We live in California and the house we are buying is in Indiana that's a big deal to step out of a comfort zone. Thanks to Dean and others on this site that have done out of state deals. We have family near this house we are buying and it is getting other family members excited about real estate investing.

The information from Dean the academy, Edge 2010 with the set for life and other students from this site has helped others we work with. We share what we have learned from all of this with co-workers to help them get good deals on a home for them. And that's a big deal.

I have gone on to long I just wanted you Dean to know this blog really hit home with us and thank you.

Steve and Veronica.

Hey Dean,

Every week I tell myself, "I think THIS was the best blog for ME yet!!"br>

THIS week's blog has hit on what I personally think is the missing piece in why so many of us are scared. I think if the missing piece is filled, you will have a HUGE NUMBER of people being your future SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS!!br>

Many people need Baby Steps or "ONE SIMPLE STEP AT A TIME!" I know I do. Just hearing something like:br>

"All I want you to do this week or month is FIND A GOOD REAL ESTATE AGENT to start your team. Post your experience on this blog to tell us what happened!!" -------

sounds DO-ABLE because it's ONLY ONE TASK!!!

As a suggestion: the next week, your blog can discuss what people's responses were after they made the effort to get the real estate agent and how to handle the obstacles that came up with those who couldn't.

After the majority have gotten that down, then you can tell us ONE SIMPLE Step #2 and so on.

I think this principle applies in SO MANY things in life.

Look at all the diets that have come and gone. Those that stay around are NOT COMPLICATED, but SIMPLE and EASY to follow.

The same applies to looking at a HUGE pile of papers or clutter. It looks monstrous and scary but if we pick up one thing at a time, it's not so scary after all and seems DO-ABLE.

I think of that quote: "The journey of a thousand miles begins or began with a SINGLE STEP!!"

How about "SINGLE STEP REI" ? Smiling

Thanks again for your humility in recognizing that everyone shouldn't compare themselves to you or anyone else--we should only compare ourselves to OURSELVES and as you mentioned to set SMALL goals--SIMPLE Steps--to get to our bigger goal. We can call OURSELVES "one of your SUCCESS STUDENTS" even when we FIND THAT AGENT!!

The thing I hope everyone appreciates too is that, if you wanted to, you could put a price tag on these blogs for sharing the knowledge and wisdom that you paid and continue to pay thousands of dollars to get.

My FAVORITE thing is that you don't ever say:---- "The ONLY WAY is the Success Academy or The Edge Event" but you admit, even those that only have your book or if they can just come on this site CAN DO IT TOO!!

To me, that's one of the BIGGEST things that sets you apart from the rest. Smiling

What do you think about setting up a separate blog for "ONE Simple Step at a Time" or something like that for those who desire to take it slower?

Perhaps, the ONLY way to view the NEXT blog (incentive) would be AFTER we have DONE step one, such as "Find A Good Real Estate Agent" Thanks for letting me share my thoughts and ideas!

Warm Sincerity,

Patty

P.S. After only our 2nd year hosting Dean's 2 day
"Gain the EDGE" seminars, they have already been called the best no-nonsense, 'how to do it' real estate training in the country. People are RAVING over how easy it has been for them to actually take action after getting the information presented at this event. If you missed the EDGE event 2010, watch this short video that reveals how to get the event on DVD here.
