Yes, that is the right word. They are scared because they do not know how to arrange things.

Planning:
·         Make a list of your belongings
·         note serial numbers of electronic equipments
·         Take photographs of your belongings
·         Arrange removalists and include insurance quotes.

Things You Need:
You will need some essential things to complete packing of your belongings. Arrange all the things before starting final packing. Following is a checklist of such things.

·         Thick marker pens, scissors, strong tape, stick on labels
·         strong packaging boxes (several sizes), wardrobe boxes with hanger bars (removalists might bring these)
·         Butcher paper, Newspaper (use only to fill the gap and give cushioning, do not use to wrap the things as it can leave smudges.)
·         Inventory sheets, bubble wraps, Ziplock bags, garbage bags
·         Foam pieces for sharp objects, roaps and bungee cords
·         trolley, twist ties and elastic bands

Packing:
·         sturdy boxes are best
·         write 'top' on lid of each box
·         use newspaper, bath towel or linen to give cushioning to the bottom
·         fill the large boxes by putting bigger objects at bottom and lighter ones on top
·         Secure all boxes with the help of roap in crisscross manner, firmly.

Delicate Objects:
·         Provide extra cushioning to the box.
·         About one-third of the contents must be soft cushions, you can use towels, linen and other softer objects
·         Use soft tissue papers for wrapping.
·         Keep the plates on their sides.
·         Do not leave gap between objects fill the gap with paper.

Sharp Objects:
·         Cover sharp edges (knives, forks etc) with foam or other cushioning materials.
·         Keep all sharp objects in a closed jar or container

Tips:
·         Use linen to fill gap between delicate objects.
·         Take big garbage bags and fill them with remaining linen, bed sheets and other cloths.
·         Use these garbage bags to fill the gap between cartons placed in moving trucks.
·         Keep books in small cartons.
·         create a backup of all of your computer files
·         Remove fuel from stoves, grills and other such machines before moving them.
